Many remember the idiotic “Hold Your Wee for a Wii” radio contest, from which Jennifer Strange died from water intoxication. Of course, the radio show hosts took no notice to the warnings of water intoxication and actually made fun of the contestants during the contest.
On January 16th, the three hosts of the radio show, KDND-FM’s “Morning Rave,” and seven employees were fired (thank God). On January 25th, Strange’s family filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Sacramento Superior Court against KDND’s parent company, Entercom, and employees and managers involved with the contest.
And now, news surfaces of the ruling.
There were no observable indications or symptoms that Jennifer Strange was experiencing a serious medical emergency which would have required station employees to seek or administer medical aid to her.
My condolences to the family. It’s tragic that Jennifer Strange’s death was due to the stupidity of three radio hosts, despite warnings from health officials.

Meh, Jennifer Strange and the rest of the participants, by law, had to be aware of the dangers. You can’t put the blame completely on the hosts.
You could also blame Nintendo for limiting supply.
Come on Toxic, Nintendo has basicly no connections to this execpt the station gave a out… a Wii. Otherwise it’s pointless blaming Nintendo.
I was being humorous.
Ok, just wondering
